Ambient walkways for pedestrians with cafes and restaurants, serving a hotel, offices, and apartments are essential elements of the New Center of Lódz, Ghelamco Poland’s latest mixed-use project showcased at MIPIM in Cannes.

The scheme has just received the green light for development and Ghelamco, which plans to deliver it in three stages, said that ground floor featuring cafes, wine bars and restaurants would be crucial to the ambitious project’s ambiance.

‘We place a strong emphasis on the development of the New Center of Lódz. It is an extremely significant and exciting project for us. We attach a great importance to public space. We want to create a vibrant part of the city which will become an excellent place for work, leisure and living,’ said Jeroen van der Toolen, managing director CEE, Ghelamco.
